| 建筑学中，“表皮”一直不是一个清晰和单一的概念，对建筑表皮的认识和设计造成了一定的阻碍.针对这一现象，追溯了19世纪以来不同学者对建筑表皮概念的理解，描述了当代建筑表皮的建造实践情况，分析了当代建筑表皮理论的成就与不足，并在此基础上针对当代建筑表皮功能多样化、构造复杂化的特点，提出建筑表皮系统的概念.建筑表皮系统包含了建筑中涉及围护和造像2种功能的全部构件，扩大了传统意义上建筑表皮研究的对象，更好的反映了当代建筑表皮构件之间的相互关系. |

| In architecture, the term of architectural surface is not a stiff idea, making it difficult to be reflected on. The development of the concept of architectural surface was tried to trace, contemporary architectural surface practice was described, and the achievements and shortcomings of contemporary architectural theory was summed up, and the structural concept of architectural surface system was defined, with the consideration of contemporary architectural characteristics. The object of architectural surface study was expanded by the concept of architectural system which includes all the components involved in the image presentation or the function of envelope and reflects the relationship between the components of contemporary architectural surface better. |
